Reiki is the most natural and innate form of energy medicine. Infact, we often give ourselves reiki without realizing it. By placing our hands over parts of our body when we get hurt. This modality has gained much popularity over the last decade, and is also known as "Therapeutic Touch" in the western world of medicine. Many nurse practitioners are certified in reiki and utilize this gentle method of healing, for the sick and dying. Reiki works primarily with the chakra system of our body. The chakras correlate to our nervous and endocrine systems. Our chakras also correlate to the seven layers of our auric field, which represent and resonant with our physical body, our mental body, our emotional & spirit body. When people receive reiki sessions, it assists in a variety of ailments from addictions to diseases, from blockages to depression, pain, and the list goes on and on! That said, when we receive this type of energy medicine, it gives a lovely tune up to the whole body system, that is the entirety of our being.
