USUI REIKI LEVEL 1 Reiki has been the foundation of a life long career as a holistic practitioner. Not only has this energetic modality helped me to offer quality sessions that help others in my career, it has assisted me along my path of dedication to a daily spiritual practice and holistic lifestyle. This class is very special to me, as Reiki was the first modality of energy medicine I learned in 1996. I am happy to assist you in learning the traditional form of Usui Reiki.   This course also includes qigong and native practices for protection, balancing and centering purposes. Lesson plan includes: • Introduction to Reiki. • The Reiki Story. • The levels of the aura body and its connection to the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical body. • The role of emotions & thoughts and how it effects the body, according to scientific studies. • Brief introduction to the Nervous and Endocrine system; its correlation and location to chakras. • Qigong for grounding and centering. • Sacred plant ceremony for protection clearing and blessings. • Hand exercises to note subtle energetic differences also, for the purpose of tonification and regulation of your energy through your hands, for transmission of Reiki to recipients. • Preparation guidelines for offering reiki sessions. • Client consults & follow up. • The application of the 12 hand placements for 1st degree Reiki practitioners. • Intuitive hand placement • Giving, receiving and observing Reiki sessions. • Attunment to 1st degree Reiki • This class will empower students to discover their innate healing abilities and give the tools for self healing with reiki. • Students can expect to offer quality Reiki sessions to their clients, as a result of taking this Reiki 1st degree certification course. *** If you are an LMT or a RYT this course is approved through NCBTMB FOR 6 CE's and YA for 3 CE's.
